Diane Lingenfelter AOCA, SCA

Diane Lingenfelter is an Honours graduate of the Ontario College of Art (Toronto, Canada).

Originally from Northern Ontario, she enjoys skiing, skating and dance. The bold and spontaneous brushstrokes of her paintings reflect her love of movement. Diane says, "It is the physicality of painting that moves and inspires me. Painting is a dance of improvisation, humour and insight. I feel it articulates for me, what language cannot; painting is universal."

Diane has had solo exhibitions at various galleries in Toronto as well as numerous curated and juried exhibitions in Greater Toronto and in Mexico City, Mexico.

Her work is included in the permanent collections of the McLauglin Gallery, Oshawa, and the Scarborough Civic Center, Ontario, as well as in many private and corporate collections in Canada, United States, Finland and Germany.

Diane has created art instruction programs for both adults and children, and has donated her time and paintings to fundraisers for galleries and arts promotions.
